Breakout Learning is a standards-aligned; multimedia education experience built for the virtual history classroom.
Co-founded by Steve Watters (award-winning podcast 1865) & Ramit Varma.

Their first product is Trials of History. In this technological spin on a mock trial, students play the part of the jury, examine evidence from history, and pass judgment on famous and infamous characters and events from history. With an emphasis on breakout group activities, Trials of History uses storytelling, diverse perspectives, and multimedia content to give teachers the tools they need to enrich AP curriculum instruction.
